For example: I have been a primary school teacher for over 10 years, with experience mainly in the private sector. I like my lessons to feel inclusive, ensuring that the student takes autonomy in their learning. I often participate in the activity that I set my students, modelling language and behaviour to demonstrate what is expected. To consolidate learning, I also ask the student to teach back what they have learnt to me and use play based learning. I teach all four of the core 11+ subjects, with a particular passion in English. I am always reading new books and am happy to recommend books for your child - I have been known to get even the biggest 'I don't like reading' student into reading!
