JK Educate was established in 2010, in response to growing parental confusion around the ever-changing education landscape. Due to limited access to clear guidance and informed advice, founders Lorrae Jaderberg and Katie Krais created JK Educate to provide expert guidance and personalised tutoring for families across London and beyond.
From early entrance exams like the 7+ to undergraduate-level support, JK Educate quickly became known for its high standards and student-centred approach. The consultancy also supported families relocating to the UK by helping them navigate the education system with confidence.
Our Founders and Leadership
Lorrae and Katie first met as class teachers in 1999 and went on to collaborate in various senior leadership roles, including SENCO and Deputy Headteacher. Their shared values and educational expertise shaped the foundation of JK Educate.
They were later joined by Tania Virdie, who also held senior leadership roles in schools. Tania became Head of Schools at JK Educate in 2017 and took on the role of Head of Dukes Tutoring in September 2024.
As of the same date, Katie Krais was promoted to Dukes Plus Partnership Director, and Lorrae Jaderberg retired, leaving a lasting legacy of excellence.
