Summer 11+ Practice Mock Exam
In addition to our main mock exams, we also provide extra practice mock exams over the summer holidays which are intended for smaller groups of students and are invaluable in helping improve time management, building confidence and giving further experience of different question styles and topics.
The extra mock exams focus on English and maths and are for children who are going into Y6 in September 2025. They will take place in North London on the following days:
Thursday 31st July 2025: 9.30am – 12.30pm
Thursday 28th August 2025: 9.30am – 12.30pm
September 11+ Mock Exam
Our next formal 11+ mock exam in English and maths will be held at Brookland Junior School, NW11 6EJ on Sunday 28th September 2025 8.50am -12pm.
This will give students who are in Year 6, essential experience of sitting a mock exam, before they sit the real 11+ exams and allow them to experience a real exam environment, following instructions, pacing themselves, completing mock tests and checking / editing carefully

Dukes Tutoring Creative Comprehension Course
Our exciting Creative Comprehension workshop is relevant to all 11+ and 13+ students. Many schools now use online tests which include this important element and some schools have included source-based questions. Attending this course will help to actively prepare your child.
This exciting new 2 hour online course will focus on reading, analysing and extracting information from different sources such as pictures, statistics, graphs as well as a wide range of different texts where students make links between the information shown and consider the evidence.
Dukes Tutoring Advanced Creative Comprehension Course
Our Advanced Creative Comprehension course is aimed at students who have participated in the first Creative Comprehension course and will allow them further experience of putting the strategies and techniques into place, using varied sources, providing increased challenge, extension and stretch. Feedback from previous students described the course as ‘enjoyable’, ‘fun’, ‘challenging’, ‘helpful’ and ‘useful’ and all students commented on how their confidence had grown within the session.
Dukes Tutoring Puzzles and Problem-Solving Course
Our bespoke Problem-Solving course is relevant to all 11+ and 13+ students, regardless of which schools your child is sitting for. The course is written and lead by an 11+ specialist and a highly experienced teacher and 11+ tutor.
It will focus on the importance of reading and processing a question, looking at different types and styles of questions including maths, reasoning and logic, learning techniques and appropriate strategies to solve them, as well as discussing how to work through feelings of panic or being overwhelmed.
In summary, students will leave this exciting new course feeling empowered and resilient, confident in their problem-solving skills and able to cope with whatever the exam day brings.
