After an initial career in business, Clive has spent more than twenty years in education, with mathematics as his core teaching subject and the majority of his career in senior leadership roles focused on student outcomes and wellbeing. He has led two UK prep schools – Packwood Haugh and Northcote Lodge – and completed interim headships overseas in Egypt and Spain. Well connected across the independent sector, he has previously chaired the Independent Association of Prep Schools finance committee and served on the Independent Schools Council finance committee, giving him broad insight into both day and boarding schools.
Clive has exceptional expertise as a school admissions consultant and takes great pride in guiding pupils to their first-choice schools. He also leads on our transition to secondary school programmes and academic assessments. A long-standing member of the Dukes Tutoring team, he combines strategic perspective with a genuine enjoyment of working one-to-one with students.
