I am an experienced secondary school teacher, examiner and tutor specialising in Business, Economics and BTEC qualifications. I believe every student can succeed when complex ideas are broken down into clear, manageable steps. My lessons are structured, engaging and tailored to each learner, using real-world examples to build confidence, independence and exam technique. I have taught in the UK and internationally, supported students with EAL, SEND and dyslexia and use my examiner experience to maximise student outcomes.

Experience

Imran Lakhi is a professional tutor with over 20 years teaching experience in Business and Economics. He has held senior leadership positions including Head of Business, Head of Business and Economics, Head of Economics and Business Studies and Curriculum Director of Business and Economics. He has over 15 years experience as an Edexcel examiner and Team Leader for A Level Economics, teaching A Level, IB, BTEC, GCSE, IGCSE and International Foundation Programme qualifications. He has successfully supported students to exceed target grades and gain places at leading universities. He has extensive experience supporting students with EAL, as well as some experience with SEND and dyslexia. He has taught at DLD College London, Priors Field School, Reach Academy and RMS for Girls and is currently teaching GCSE and A Levels in Business and Economics at LVS Ascot.
