Keith

I have worked in international education for ten years, with six of these as a Head of Department. During this time I have gained experience with IBDP, iGCSE and A Levels curricula and exams. I have worked with students from 13-18, although I have focused mainly on the 16-18 age group, teaching small classes that have prepared me well for tutoring. Indeed, my last school began as a tutoring college, and this philosophy and environment have shaped my pedagogical approach. In teaching languages I believe that interactivity should be the main component of lessons, and I have taken courses on gamification. Furthermore, in order to make lessons more engaging and to increase their real world relevance I integrate as much cultural material as possible. Fundamentally, I recognize the importance of both extensive structured practice and grammatical analysis and believe that linguistic success is best achieved through combining these two pillars.

Keith is a proficient educator with ten years teaching experience in academically rigorous international schools.
