I have over 13 years of experience in education across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including classroom teaching, subject leadership, SEN tutoring, and supporting tutors and families. As a former Head of Prep Science and PSHE, I understand the importance of combining strong academic foundations with wellbeing, confidence and personal development. I build warm, trusting relationships with children and families and tailor my teaching to each student’s individual needs. My approach is supportive, engaging and highly individualised, helping children to develop both confidence and independence. I have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs, including children unable to attend school, and I adapt lessons carefully to ensure every child can access learning and make progress. I tutor children preparing for 4+, 7+, 8+, 9+, 10+ and 11+ entrance exams across English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Science and protecting the environment are particular passions of mine. I love teaching children about the world around us and encouraging them to think about how we can create a more sustainable future. Being in nature is my happy place, and I enjoy bringing this enthusiasm and curiosity into my teaching.
