I hold a First-Class BA (Hons) in Primary Teaching with English (QTS) from Kingston University. As a highly experienced Primary Teacher, I have spent over a decade teaching across a wide range of mainstream and specialist educational settings, working with children of all primary ages and abilities. My specialism is English and literacy development, and throughout my career I have held leadership roles including Phonics Lead and PSHE Lead. These positions have allowed me to develop extensive expertise in supporting both academic achievement and children's personal, social, and emotional growth. I am passionate about creating engaging, inclusive, and child-centred learning experiences that inspire confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. One of the aspects of teaching that I value most is building strong, positive relationships with my pupils and their families. I am naturally friendly, approachable, and personable, and I take pride in creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. By fostering trust and encouraging every child to believe in their own abilities, I help them develop not only academically but also emotionally and socially.
