I am a friendly, warm and approachable tutor with eight years of experience working with students across a wide range of ages, abilities and learning styles. My priority is to understand each student as an individual and identify how they learn most effectively, adapting my teaching style, pace and resources accordingly. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and actively involved in their learning, so I aim to create a positive environment where they feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves. I encourage students to explain concepts back to me, as this helps consolidate learning and allows me to identify any gaps in understanding. Ultimately, I want my lessons to be academically rigorous while remaining engaging and encouraging, helping students develop not only their subject knowledge but also the confidence, curiosity and independent learning skills to succeed.
