I specialise in helping students in all areas of Literacy be that Reading, Writing, Spelling, Phonics or Dyslexia Support. With 15 years of experience in education, mainly in the private international sector, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my tutoring. My in-depth subject knowledge means my tutoring is targeted and bespoke, helping each child make the highest level of progress from their own starting point. I begin with a thorough assessment, then create tailored, structured, multi-sensory lessons built around your child's individual needs, so they build confidence quickly, learn faster and overcome any fear of reading. I make learning lively, fun and engaging, and my kind, caring approach means self-esteem grows alongside academic ability. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their potential, and that unlocking the mystery of Reading and Writing is what turns a demotivated learner into a confident one. Outside of tutoring, I'm a keen scuba diver and have dived all over the world - though never in the UK.
